She exhaled in relief. “We succeeded?” Not that she had done that much at the end. She had been too busy almost dying. “The mission wasn’t a failure?” She hesitated briefly, touching her tongue to her lips before asking her next question. “And Talesan? He’s all right?” He was... a subject she was unsure she should bring up. Not after all that had been said. They had an agreement.
